Do I need a WooCommerce plugin?
No. StoreGIF reads the public WooCommerce Store API (/wp-json/wc/store/products), which is built into modern WooCommerce. There’s nothing to install.
Why can’t it find my products?
Your catalog needs to be publicly readable (the default). If the Store API is disabled, or your shop lives in a subfolder, use Product URL or Upload on the maker instead.
Does it work with a custom WooCommerce theme?
Yes — the Store API is independent of your theme, so any modern WooCommerce store with a public catalog works regardless of design.
Can I feature a product from a specific category?
Store mode pulls your most recent products. To feature a specific item, open its page and use Product URL, or upload its photos directly.
Does it work with other platforms?
Store URL mode supports Shopify and WooCommerce. For any other platform, paste a single product URL or upload your own photos.
Is it free?
Yes. Free GIFs carry a small watermark you can remove for free with your email.
