Privacy Policy

The short version

StoreGIF is built to be privacy-friendly. Your product photos are turned into GIFs entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to or stored by us. We only collect an email address if you choose to give us one, and we use a couple of standard services to host the site and understand how it’s used.

Product photos and GIFs

When you upload photos, they’re processed on your device — the GIF is generated in your browser and never sent to our servers. When you paste a store or product URL, our server fetches that publicly available page and its images so it can load them into the tool; we use them only to build your preview and do not keep them.

Email addresses

You can enter an email address to remove the watermark from a GIF or to join the Pro waitlist. If you do, we collect that address to deliver what you asked for and to contact you about StoreGIF. Email submissions are handled through a third-party form provider. We don’t sell your email, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Analytics and cookies

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site — it records anonymized usage such as clicks, scrolling and session replays, and it sets cookies to do so. This helps us improve the tool. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

• Microsoft Clarity — product analytics and session replay.
• A third-party form provider — to receive email submissions.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes.

Your choices

You can use the whole tool without giving us an email. You can block analytics cookies with your browser or an extension. To access or delete any email you’ve given us, contact us and we’ll take care of it.
